Common use of Remote response Clause in Contracts

Remote response. An Employee who is in receipt of an “On Call” allowance and available to immediately: a) Respond to a phone call from an authorised officer. b) Provide advice (phone fixes). c) Arrange call-out of other Employees as directed. d) Remotely monitor and/or address issues by remote telephone and/or computer access Shall be paid the applicable overtime rate for the time actually taken in dealing with each particular matter.
