Common use of Report Time/Call-In Time Clause in Contracts

Report Time/Call-In Time. If an employee reports for work in accordance with instructions he shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at his base rate. Report time will not apply in case of emergency shutdown arising out of any condition beyond the Companies’ control. (a) An employee who leaves work of his own volition, or because of incapacity (other than industrial injury), or is discharged or suspended after beginning work, will be paid only for the number of hours actually worked during that day. (b) An employee who leaves work because of incapacity due to occupational injury/illness will be paid eight (8) hours pay at his base rate.
