Call-In Time Sample Clauses
The Call-In Time clause defines the minimum amount of advance notice an employer must provide to an employee before requiring them to report to work outside of their regular schedule. Typically, this clause specifies the timeframe—such as a certain number of hours or days—within which the employee must be notified, and may also outline compensation if the notice period is not met. Its core function is to protect employees from last-minute scheduling changes, ensuring they have adequate time to prepare and minimizing disruptions to their personal lives.
Call-In Time.
16.01 All employees called in, and who report for work shall, if requested to work less than four (4) hours, shall receive four (4) hours pay at their regular hourly rate.
Call-In Time. A unit member called in to work on a day when the employee is not scheduled to work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours of work, or salary in lieu thereof, at the appropriate rate.

Call-In Time. When an officer is called in at other than his normal scheduled work shift, he shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours at the appropriate premium rate, provided that such minimum shall not be applicable if the call-in is contiguous with the officer’s scheduled duty hours.
Call-In Time. Call-in time is defined as any time four (4) hours or more are required to be worked, which do not appear on the regular schedule either due to business conditions or the non-scheduled absence of employees. A call-in on any day will be allocated to the senior employee in the job in the department who is capable of performing the normal functions of the job:
a) who is not working on the same shift and has not worked eight (8) hours on that day;
b) who is willing to perform the work and can be contacted with regard to the work;
c) such allocation will in no event result in overtime.
d) Employees who are part-time will be offered a call-in, when available, on the sixth (6th) day in a week.
Call-In Time. Whenever an employee is called out to work without prior notice at times other than her/his regular work schedule, thereby necessitating additional travel to and from work, he/she shall be guaranteed four (4) hours pay at straight time or overtime depending upon the case involved. Whenever an employee is called out to work for time leading into the regular shift, he/she shall be paid for all hours worked at the appropriate straight time or premium rate of pay.
Call-In Time. Drivers called to work shall be allowed sufficient time, without pay, to get to the garage or terminal, and shall draw full pay from the time ordered to report and register in. If not put to work, employees shall be guaranteed six (6) hours’ pay at the rate specified in this Agreement. If such employee is put to work he shall be guaranteed a minimum of eight (8) hours’ pay.
Call-In Time. 16.1 All employees called in, except as provided below, and who reported for work shall, if requested to work less than four (4) hours, receive four (4) hours pay at their regular hourly rate.
16.2 Paragraph 16.1 above shall apply to students on days other than school days. It shall also apply when stores are open for night shopping on school days. On school days, other than when stores are open for night shopping, students may be paid for only those hours worked, except when employed for less than two (2) consecutive hours, in which event, they shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours’ pay at the regular hourly rate.
16.3 If a student is called in before the store opens he/she will be paid for four (4) hours at his/her regular hourly rate. This four (4) hour minimum would also apply to any student called in for night stocking if he/she was brought in to start his/her shift one-half (½) hour, or later after store-closing time.
Call-In Time. Section 1. One (1) hour minimum pay shall be paid when an employee is called in for unscheduled hours, including, but not limited to, employee meetings called by the Employer.
Section 2. Employees reporting for work at the start of their regularly scheduled shift and there being no work available, shall receive not less than two (2) hours pay at their regular rate unless such employees are notified at least one (1) hour prior to their regular starting time.
