REPORTING FOR WORK. (1) An employee who reports for work at the start of his/her regular shift or at the time appointed by the Company without previously having been notified not to report, shall be given at least four (4) hours work, or if no work is available, four (4) hours pay at base hourly rate, except that if work is unavailable as the result of causes beyond the control of the Company, it shall not be so obligated.
(2) Failure on the part of an employee to keep the Company informed of a current telephone number shall relieve the Company of its responsibility under this section of the Contract.

REPORTING FOR WORK. 23.01 An employee reporting for work on instructions of the company for whom no work or less than four (4) hours' work is available shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours' time at the hourly wage rate he/she would have received if he/she had actually worked a total of four (4) hours. It shall be the duty of all employees to report for work on each and every working day at the prescribed hours as set out in the hours of work schedule required to be posted in accordance with the Employment Standards Act. Failure of employees to comply with the provisions of this clause will result in disciplinary action by the City, provided however, that where an employee if unable to report personally because of sickness, such employee will notify the immediate supervisor or some other official of the City by telephone, if possible, prior to the commencement of the working day, or as soon as possible thereafter. The City and the Union agree to continue investigating the practicality of flexible hours and compressed work week. It was agreed that neither the City nor Union will be bound in any way to implementing any recommendation or proposition emanating from the experimentation.
REPORTING FOR WORK. The Parties are committed to delivering value for paid time. Accordingly,
(a) Unless some other reporting location is designated by the Employer, employees shall be in attendance at their work station and prepared to commence work at the scheduled starting time for their respective shifts.
(b) Employees shall be diligent in respecting start times, shift completion times, lunch periods and rest break periods.

15.02 When an employee on a job or project reports as usual for work, but is unable to commence work because of circumstances within the control or responsibility of the Employer, he shall be given two (2) hours' pay plus travelling allowance if applicable, for reporting on the job, provided, however, that the employee remains on the job during the two (2) hour period if required by the Employer, and performs any work requested which, in the opinion or judgement of his ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, after conferring with the job ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, can be accomplished. If reporting time occurs during Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, or overtime hours then overtime rates shall apply.
REPORTING FOR WORK. Employees will report for work call-ready at the location of their workstation at the assigned time for the shift and will remain on duty, barring extenuating circumstances, until properly relieved.
