Common use of Reporting Time and Pay Clause in Contracts

Reporting Time and Pay. Unless notified otherwise at least two (2) hours in advance of the 2 scheduled starting time, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as 3 scheduled shall be assigned to at least three (3) hours of work. If work is not available, the 4 employee may be excused from duty and paid for three (3) hours at the employee's 5 appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing 6 three (3) hours of work the employee shall be paid for three (3) hours at the employee's 7 appropriate rate.
