Common use of Requested Days Off Clause in Contracts

Requested Days Off. Employees, who request in writing and are granted a specific day off prior to the posting of the work schedule, shall not have their hours of work for the week reduced as a result of the request being granted, provided not more than two (2) requests are made to a maximum of two (2) days per four-week period calendar. It is understood that the above shall be subject to operational requirements and the employee’s restrictions. The above will not restrict a Department Manager from granting additional days off.
