REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES) FOR ARTICULATION. This competency-based course prepares the student for an entry-level position in a studio, assisting a recording engineer or working with a recording studio musician. Integrated throughout the course are career technical education standards which include basic academic skills, communication, career planning, technology, problem solving, safety, responsibility, ethics, teamwork, and technical knowledge.
