Required Evaluation. A. All employees newly employed by the District shall be observed within the first ninety (90) calendar days of the commencement of their employment for a minimum of thirty (30) continuous minutes. B. All employees, including new employees, shall be evaluated annually, such evaluations to be completed not later than May 1 of the year in which the evaluation takes place. C. If an employee is transferred to another position not under the supervisor's jurisdiction, an evaluation shall be made at the time of such transfer. D. If an employee resigns during the school year, a final evaluation shall be completed prior to the resignation date. E. Short-form Evaluation: 1. Short-form Evaluation Definition: A short form of evaluation will be available for any employee who has been employed by the District for four years with satisfactory evaluations, provided that any employee may opt out of short form status for any full year, and further provided that one year out of every three (3) during which an employee is otherwise on short form status, the long form must be used.
