A Retake Policy clause outlines the conditions under which an individual may repeat an assessment, course, or examination after an initial unsuccessful attempt. Typically, this clause specifies the number of permitted retakes, any required waiting periods, and whether additional fees or remedial actions are necessary before retaking. Retake Policy. You are allowed two retakes. If you fail the third administration (second retake) of the in-person school final exam, you must retake the entire course before you are permitted to sit for another administration of the in-person school final exam. The final exam will not be administered more than four times to any one student.

Retake Policy. ATA shall enforce the MCP exam retake policy and not permit Candidates to register or take an exam which violates this policy. This enforcement shall be based on registration data from within ATA's system alone. When MS-Cert integration is available, the enforcement shall be based on registration data from within MS-Cert. MS-Cert is defined in Appendix D (ATA Exam Results Import Format). The policy for MCP exam retakes is: If you do not pass an exam the first time, you may retake it at any time. If you do not achieve a passing score a second time, you must wait at least 14 days to retake the exam a third time. A 14-day waiting period will be imposed for all subsequent exam retakes. If you have passed an exam, you cannot take it again. Beta exams may be taken only once. Candidates are eligible for each course to take associated exam and one re-take if initial exam ends in failure. Subsequent retakes must to be attempted through commercial channel. MCCL shall provide at least thirty (30) days notice to ATA in the event the retake policy changes or a special case is necessary for a given exam.

7.2 From time to time, Palo Alto Networks may offer candidates the opportunity to take a beta examination, which is a newly developed exam made available to a smaller audience prior to being available to the general audience. Palo Alto Networks beta examinations may only be taken a total of one (1) time by each candidate, and participation in beta testing is subject to further policies.
7.3 A test found to be in violation of the retake policy will be invalidated, and the candidate may be subject to a suspension period. Repeat violators will be permanently banned from participation in the Palo Alto Networks Certification Program.
7.4 Candidates must pay the exam price each time they attempt the exam. Palo Alto Networks does not offer any free retests or discounts on retakes.
Retake Policy. You agree to comply with Nutanix’s certification exam retake policy when retaking any certification exam that you previously failed. There is a seven (7) calendar day waiting period after all failed attempts for proctored Nutanix certification exam. Once a candidate passes an exam, they cannot take that exam again until a new major exam revision is released. Beta exams may only be taken once during the beta exam period. If a candidate is unsuccessful on the beta exam, they may take the production version of the exam once released.
