Returning Former Teachers Sample Clauses

The 'Returning Former Teachers' clause outlines the conditions under which teachers who have previously worked for an institution may be rehired. Typically, this clause specifies eligibility requirements, such as minimum periods of prior service, any waiting periods before reemployment, and whether previous benefits or seniority are reinstated. For example, a school district might allow a teacher who left in good standing to return after a year, with partial credit for prior service. The core function of this clause is to provide a clear framework for rehiring former employees, ensuring fairness and consistency in employment practices.
