Common use of Right to Request Information Clause in Contracts

Right to Request Information. The State reserves the right to request information relative to a Vendor’s references and financial status and to visit a Vendor’s facilities during normal working hours. The State also reserves the right to request a current financial statement, prepared and certified by an independent auditing firm, and reserves the right to require that Vendors document their financial ability to provide the products and services proposed up to the total dollar amount of the Vendor’s cost proposal. The State reserves the right to request information about the Vendor from any previous customer of the Vendor of whom the State is aware, even if that customer is not included in the Vendor’s list of references.
