Common use of ROCK SOURCE ON STATE LAND Clause in Contracts

ROCK SOURCE ON STATE LAND. Rock used in accordance with the quantities on the ROCKLIST may be obtained from the following source(s) on state land at no charge to the Contractor. Use of material from any other source must have prior written approval from the Contract Administrator. If other operators are using, or desire to use the rock source(s), a joint operating plan shall be developed. All parties shall follow this plan. The Contractor shall notify the Contract Administrator a minimum of 5 calendar days before starting any operations in the listed locations. Rock used in accordance with the quantities on the ROCK LIST may be obtained from any commercial source at the Contractor's expense. Rock sources will be subject to written approval by the Contract Administrator before their use.
