Common use of Rostered Days Off (RDO Clause in Contracts

Rostered Days Off (RDO. a) Working hours will be arranged on a system which provides for an employee to accrue two (2) rostered days off over a four (4) week work cycle. This will be done by the employee working forty (40) ordinary hours each week, being paid thirty-six (36) hours ordinary pay and accruing four (4) hours ordinary pay towards a rostered day off. b) Accumulated RDO’s are intended to be taken in conjunction with R& R leave. c) At time of termination with the company, all rostered day off accruals shall be paid out at the employee’s ordinary rate of pay.
