Common use of Salary Scale Clause in Contracts

Salary Scale. ‌‌‌‌ a) The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be as set out hereinafter in Schedule A. b) Notwithstanding anything in this agreement to the contrary, any Employee now receiving a higher rate of pay than is called for under the wage schedule herein shall not have such higher rate reduced during the term of this Agreement unless negotiated otherwise or he/she is demoted.
