Common use of Saved Holidays Clause in Contracts

Saved Holidays. 31 Saved Holidays may be accrued in lieu of observed holidays per the specific 32 provisions of this Article. 1 1. Saved Holiday time which is not used by the end of the fiscal year in which 2 it was accrued will be forfeited, with the exception an employee may carry over one (1) Saved 3 Holiday per year. 4 2. Saved Holiday time may be used at the discretion of the employee with 5 the consent of his or her supervisor. Saved Holiday time will be charged in accordance with the 6 uniform time charging provisions of Article 13. 7 3. Upon separation from service employees will be paid for unused Saved 8 Holiday time at their regular rate of pay. 9 4.
