Schedule Of Longevity Payments. Longevity payments shall be made, as an addition to base wage, to all permanent, full-time qualified employees who shall have completed at least five (5) years of continuous service with the City. For the purposes of this particular benefit, authorized unpaid leave of absence shall not be construed as an interruption in continuous service. Longevity payments shall be based on the years of service of the employee and the amount of payment shall be in accordance with the following schedule: Employees hired prior to December 1, 2010 shall be eligible for longevity as set forth in the table below.
