Common use of Scheduled Review Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Review. Prior to the creation of the 2014 Acting Communications Supervisor List, the parties will meet to review the deployment and appointment of Acting Communications Supervisor under the terms of this Letter of Understanding. The purpose of the review will be to determine if operational needs of the VFRS and the interests of the personnel on the Acting Communications Supervisor List are being met. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING 04 - UNIFORM COMMITTEE The parties agree, within sixty (60) days of the ratification of the Collective Agreement, to establish a Joint Committee comprised of two (2) members representing management, designated by the Fire Chief, and two members representing the Association, designated by the President of the Association. Association members of the Committee will be compensated in accordance with the collective agreement for time spent during committee meetings. The Joint Committee will be responsible to review the uniform clothing and discuss the policy for the appropriate use and wearing of all VFRS issued clothing items. The Committee will: - Establish, review and make recommendations regarding the uniform specifications; and - Review the Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG) and make recommendations for changes/additions to the uniforms guidelines; and - Review and discuss the quantity, quality and types and materials of the uniform clothing items taking into account the specifications contained in the report dated 1998-02-04; and, - Review and discuss the uniform point system contained in Article 14 of the Collective Agreement. Upon completion of the review, the Committee will provide a report outlining their recommendations to the Collective Bargaining Committees of the City and the Association. The parties undertake to complete this review within six (6) months of appointment. The Committee will continue to meet as necessary to address opportunities and concerns regarding uniforms.

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING 05 - 24 HOUR SHIFT This Letter of Understanding (▇▇▇) is the result of a collaborative effort between the Corporation of The City of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Professional Fire Fighters Association, I.A.F.F. Local 1595. The parties agree that the following agreement will set out the terms to implement a trial 24-hour shift schedule for Operations Division employees and, to that end, enter into this Letter of Understanding which does not amend the Collective Agreement. If this trial is terminated, by either the Corporation or the Association, it is understood that the parties will revert back to the Collective Agreement, and that no additional salary or overtime costs shall be incurred because of this transition. If the Fire Chief or the Association deems it necessary to terminate the trial 24-hour shift schedule, notice must be given 120 days before a termination date, unless otherwise required by law, and provide to the other party the concerns and reasons for the termination of the trial. By mutual consent, the trial period can be terminated with less than the 120 days’ notice. The parties agree that trial period must meet the operational needs of the department. 1) The parties have agreed that the attached work schedule (see Appendix A) will be implemented during the trial period.
