Scheduling of Vacation Leave With Pay. Subject to operational requirements the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to schedule an employee's vacation leave in the vacation year in which it is earned and in a manner acceptable to the employee.

Failing satisfactory resolution between the affected employees, years of service shall prevail. (g) Notwithstanding Articles 20.06 and 20.07, where all else fails, the Employer may schedule a vacation period at a time satisfactory to it.

However, upon application by an employee which must be received prior to December 31, an employee will be permitted to carry over a maximum equivalent to his total annual leave entitlement into the next fiscal year.
