The School Access clause defines the terms under which individuals or entities are permitted to enter and use school premises. Typically, this clause outlines who is authorized to access the school, during what hours, and for what purposes, such as maintenance, deliveries, or extracurricular activities. It may also specify security protocols, identification requirements, or restrictions on certain areas. The core function of this clause is to ensure the safety and security of students and staff by regulating and monitoring access to the school environment.
School Access. The appropriate administrator and employees will work out an arrangement whereby workspace may be accessed outside of normal work hours.
School Access. Duly authorized representatives of the Association and its affiliates shall not interfere with or disrupt normal school operations and provided they make their presence known and secure permission from the Principal or his/her designee. If the Superintendent and the MEA agree a topic is a mutual concern, a representative of the Association may be included on the school center faculty meeting agenda.
School Access. A. Recognizing a need for Professional Employees to have access to their teaching stations beyond the normal school day for job related professional business, the district will provide an entry system for each school. Access shall not be unreasonably denied to Professional Employees. Abuse/misuse of the provisions of this article could result in disciplinary action.
i. Professional employee access to the building will be within the hours of 5:00AM and 11:00PM. Professional Employees who access a building while custodial employees are present shall not interfere with custodial duties. There will be no custodial overtime costs as a result of building access as defined in this section. During weekends, summer, and holidays, Professional Employees enter the building at their own risk, unless participating in a district-approved program not covered under a "building use agreement." If a situation arises that necessitates access outside of the aforementioned hours, the employee must notify the building administrator by email as soon as possible.
ii. Professional Employees shall leave the building in good condition.
iii. Person(s) accompanying the Professional Employee may enter the building only with prior written approval of the building administrator. Under all circumstances, additional person(s) accompanying the Professional Employee shall remain under the direct supervision of the Professional Employee and shall remain in the Professional Employee's work station(s).
iv. Animals shall not be brought into the building without prior administrative approval.
v. Professional Employees will leave their respective work station(s) and building secure (including, but not limited to - lights out, windows and doors closed and locked, equipment put away and turned off; and water turned off).
vi. If the Professional Employee discovers a situation that could jeopardize the health/safety of an employee or condition of the building, the Professional Employee will make a reasonable effort(s) to remedy the situation.
B. Professional Employees supervising extracurricular activities shall be given keys to appropriate related areas for the duration of the season/program. Coaches supervising approved programs beyond a season shall have access to the appropriate related areas for the duration of the program.
School Access. A. Each teacher in the Federal Hocking School District, shall be provided with access to the building(s) and classroom(s) in which he/she teaches.
B. Individuals involved in extra-curricular activities will be provided with access to the part of the facility or facilities necessary to carry out his/her extra-curricular duties.
C. In the event that an access device is lost or stolen, the building administrator shall be notified immediately.
D. Any teacher who has an access device that is lost or stolen shall be assessed a
