Second Tier Allowances. A. GROUND DISTURBING ACTIVITIES AND SITE WORK, when proposed activities described below substantially conform within the existing footprint (surface area and depth of disturbance will be largely within the same location) or are performed in previously disturbed soils; also including the area where the activity is staged. 1. Footings, Foundations, Retaining Walls, Slopes, and Slope Stabilization Systems a. In-kind repair, replacement, or reinforcement of footings, foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and slope stabilization systems (e.g., rip-rap, gabion baskets, crib walls, soldier pile, and lag walls) if related ground disturbing activities are within the boundary of previously disturbed soils. b. Installation of perimeter drainage (e.g., French drains) in previously disturbed soils.
