Section 3.6.1. 16 Any material/information which may be used to discipline an employee must be disclosed to 17 the employee as soon as reasonable after the District became aware of the alleged violation. No 18 materials derogatory of the employee's conduct, service, character or personality shall be placed in 19 the personnel file unless the employee has had the opportunity to read and respond to them. The 20 employee shall acknowledge having read such material by affixing his/her signature to the copy to 21 be filed. The employee shall have the right to his/her own version of the incident or statement and 22 have his/her statement attached to the original document(s). Personnel and working files shall be 24 community.
