Section 7.5.2 Sample Clauses

Section 7.5.2. 29 Any employee hired after the beginning of the work year shall be entitled to receive prorated 30 vacation credit for the portion of the year worked.
Section 7.5.2 casual position is one created by the District for a period not to exceed thirty (30) 34 consecutive work days.

Section 7.5.2. 26 Each driver shall receive time as allocated per day by the following schedule for the purpose of 27 bus or eight (8) passenger van checkout, fueling, warm-up, cleaning inside and out, and safety 28 inspections: 30 If driver drives one (1) bus per day - 30 minutes 32 If driver drives two (2) different buses per day - 45 minutes 34 If driver drives three (3) or more buses per day - one (1) hour 35 36 Extra time will be allowed for unusual or emergency situations.
Section 7.5.2. 18 In the event that a route is canceled on a particular day, such as absent student(s), etc, the driver and/or 19 bus assistant will be paid at their normal drive time rate of pay and will be required to drive a route 20 currently being filled by a substitute. In the event no such route is available, the driver will be required 21 to perform additional duties, including but not be limited to cleaning/washing buses, student discipline, 22 route updates, cleaning and organizing student bus equipment, stocking cleaning and bus supplies, etc. 23 If none of those duties are available, drivers can be utilized to shred papers. Section 7.5.2. 36 Employees requested to work in place of a teacher will receive an hourly stipend of two dollars 37 ($2.00). Payment pursuant to this section assumes that the employee is acting in place of a 38 teacher either by filling in while the teacher is gone; or is responsible for direct instruction 39 independent of the teacher. Assigned work in accordance with this section must be pre- 41 payroll and documented on the employee’s timesheet. Incidental time will be approved and 42 documented on the employee’s timesheet at the time the employee is requested to work the 43 assignment. 45
Section 7.5.2. Bus Drivers required to spend overnight while driving shall be paid seventy-five dollars 17 ($75.00) per night. Their lodging costs will be covered. Overnight trips are exempt from duty 18 call and normal route descriptions as indicated in Section 7.4. Drive time for overnight trips is 19 calculated as actual time spent driving the bus or pre-tripping. Stand-by time shall be 20 calculated as time when the driver is not at the hotel and is waiting for students at meal sites, 21 contests, recreations, opportunities, etc. (Example Daily Schedule as follows: Band leaves for 22 stadium at 9:00 a.m. Drive time begins at 8:45 for pre-tripping. Drive lasts until 9:15.
Section 7.5.2. 11 On student attendance days, the Center coordinator may authorize or assign a Family Support 12 Specialist or General Assistant to participate in the student lunch period. Employees so 13 authorized shall not be required to have an unpaid lunch period on that date.
Section 7.5.2. 10 All authorized hours worked on Saturday or Sunday, as defined herein, shall be 11 compensated at one and one-half (1 ½) times the employee’s base hourly rate.
