Section 8.2. Bereavement Leave. 39 Each employee shall be entitled to a maximum of five (5) days leave with pay for absence caused by 40 the death of an employee’s child, spouse, parent, step-parent, grandparent, sibling, or like relationships 41 in the family of the employee’s spouse or anyone living in the employee’s household. Bereavement 42 leave shall not be deducted from sick leave.

Bereavement Leave. 39 13 Each employee shall be entitled to a maximum of five (5) days leave with pay for absence caused by 40 the death of or serious 14 illness to an employee’s 's child, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, step-child, fetus, spouse, parent, step-parent, 15 grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle, or like relationships 41 in the family of the employee’s spouse or anyone living in the employee’s householdparent-in-law. Bereavement 42 Such leave for serious illness shall be deducted from 16 sick leave. Such bereavement leave shall not be deducted from sick leave. Bereavement leave is 17 noncumulative.
