Common use of Section 9.6.2 Clause in Contracts

Section 9.6.2. 10 The returning employee will be assigned to the position last occupied before the leave of 11 absence or to a position equal in duties and wages. Every effort will be made to retain the hours 12 worked prior to the leave. Employees hired to fill positions of employees on leave of absence 13 will be hired for a specific period of time, during which they shall be subject to all provisions 14 of this Agreement. It shall be the responsibility of the Employer to inform replacement 15 employees of these provisions.

It may not be the same position last occupied before the leave of 11 absence or to a position equal in duties and wages. Every effort will be made to retain the hours 12 worked 3 held prior to the employee taking leave. Employees hired to fill positions of employees on 4 leave of absence 13 will be hired for a specific period of time, during which they shall be subject 5 to all provisions 14 of this Agreement. It shall be the responsibility of the Employer employer to inform 6 replacement 15 employees of these provisions.. The employee on leave may not return until the 7 leave period is over. 8
