Security Responsibility. R3’s information security manager is responsible for ensuring that any technical solutions to the protection of personal data meet the requirements of the controller, the information owner and applicable regulation.
Security Responsibility. (a) Every Vendor service location, regardless of size, must have one person responsible for security matters. An appropriate employee shall be given this assignment to maintain reliability and assurance.

Security Responsibility. 8.01 It is understood that if a security clearance is required by an agency of the United States Government in order to perform work in the job classifications covered by this Agreement, such security clearance shall be a condition of continued employment with the Company. Such employees shall be subject to investigation for security clearance under regulations prescribed by the Department of Defense or any other authorized and appropriate agency of the United States Government. A denial, non-approved, or withdrawal of such clearance by such governmental agency shall be just cause for discharge or suspension without pay, provided, however, that if the employee diligently pursues an appeal to the appropriate agency of the Government for revocation of such denial or withdrawal and, if upon review by such agency, clearance is granted or reinstated, the employee shall be reinstated in accordance with his/her seniority. 8.02 It is understood that there shall be no liability, financial or otherwise, on the part of the Company for any discharge or suspension growing out of a denial, non-approval or withdrawal of a security clearance. However, nothing in this Agreement shall preclude the individual from pursuing any legal remedy he/she may have against any person or organization outside the Company by virtue of his/her suspension under this clause. 8.03 Discharge or suspension because of denial, non-approval or withdrawal of a security clearance by the appropriate governmental agency shall not be subject to the grievance and/or arbitration procedure. 8.04 It is understood that an employee not able to obtain or retain a security clearance as may be required, shall be allowed to retain employment in such classifications which do not require said clearance in accordance with their abilities and seniority. The affected employee shall be laid off and allowed bumping rights as covered by this Agreement.
Security Responsibility. It is understood that the United States Government, through the agency or agencies responsible for the administration of the atomic energy program, may request the Company to deny employment to, or remove from the work and exclude from the Company, any employee whose employment or continued employment is deemed by the Government prejudicial to the interests of the Government. Should the Government withdraw or rescind a request for the removal and exclusion of an employee, he shall be offered reinstatement by the Company. The seniority of a reinstated employee shall include all time lost because of the Government's request in addition to his accumulated seniority. Nothing in this Agreement shall alter, diminish or in any way affect the obligation of employees as expressed in the Security Acknowledgment which each employee executes as a prerequisite to employment; nor shall any provision of this Agreement affect or abrogate any rights or remedies available through Department of Energy procedures or under Federal law to a employee whose denial or termination of employment is requested by the Government.
Security Responsibility. It is understood that the United States Government, through the agency or agencies responsible for the administration of the energy program, may request the Laboratory to deny employment to, or to remove from the work, any person whose employment or continued employment is deemed by the Government prejudicial to the interests of the Government. In the event the Laboratory is requested by the Government for any reason to deny employment to, or to remove from the work, any person, the Union shall abide by such determination by the Government; and no grievance may be processed through the grievance procedure nor submitted to arbitration with respect to such determination. Nothing in this Agreement shall alter, diminish, or in any way affect the obligation of employees as expressed in the Security Acknowledgment which each employee executes as a prerequisite to employment; nor shall any provision of this Agreement affect any rights or remedies available through the United States Department of Energy procedures to a person whose denial or termination of employment is requested by the Government.
Security Responsibility. Tenant acknowledges and agrees that, while Landlord may engage security personnel to patrol the Buildings or the Project, Landlord is not providing any security services with respect to the Premises, the Buildings or the Project and that Landlord shall not be liable to Tenant for, and Tenant waives any claim against Landlord with respect to, any property loss by theft or any other damage suffered or incurred by Tenant in connection with any unauthorized entry into the Premises or any other breach of security with respect to the Premises, the Buildings or the Project.
