Semester Break Sample Clauses

Semester Break. STUDENTS must vacate rooms for the duration of the scheduled semester break period, unless the UNIVERSITY gives advance approval.
Semester Break. The District may, at its discretion, choose to waive the provisions of section C and D of this Article in an emergency situation.
Semester Break. All residence halls close at 2:00 p.m. the day of Fall Commencement (12/13/2019) - graduating students may request permission for extended stay through Fall Commencement. Campus dining halls close after dinner, on the last day of finals for the Fall Semester (12/12/2019). All residence halls open at 1:00 p.m., the Thursday (1/9/2020) before the first day of class for the Spring Semester and campus dining halls open for dinner that evening.
Semester Break. During semester break, a period not covered by the terms of this Agreement, the College reserves the right to use the room as it deems necessary. The resident agrees, upon reasonable notice, to remove personal belongings from the room during such period.
Semester Break. The Semester Break (December 19 – January 10) will not be included as part of this Contract without charge unless you are a resident with a full Academic Year contract, and you pay the applicable fees for the full Academic Year.

  • Lease Year Lease Year" means each consecutive twelve-month period beginning with the Commencement Date, except that if the Commencement Date is not the first day of a calendar month, then the first Lease Year shall be the period from the Commencement Date through the final day of the twelve months after the first day of the following month, and each subsequent Lease Year shall be the twelve months following the prior Lease Year.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Start Date The parental leave must begin no later than 52 weeks after the day the child is born or comes into the custody, care and control of the parent for the first time for provincially or federally regulated employees. The parental leave of an employee who takes a pregnancy leave must begin when the pregnancy leave ends unless the child has not yet come into the care and control of the parent for the first time.
