Bargaining Unit seniority is defined as the total number of cumulative compensable hours with a cap of 1664 hours per year worked from most recent hire date into the Bargaining Unit as specified in Article 2 of this Agreement. F. Job Classification Seniority shall be considered in work assignments for new openings within a classification. This consideration will be done if at all possible and all parties are equally qualified.
G. When a member is on approved leave for periods of thirty (30) consecutive calendar days or less, seniority shall not be affected. Seniority shall not accumulate during approved leaves exceeding thirty (30) consecutive calendar days except those which are for medical leave.
