Service Connections. Water services for residential properties, as prepared by the Engineer and approved by the City as set out in Schedule “D” attached hereto, shall be installed by the Owner and shall conform to the following specifications and in accordance with the City Guidelines:

Connections to a main may be made only under the supervision of the Engineer, and all connections which involve tunnelling or cutting the gravelled or graded part of a highway must be made at the time of the installation of the main. (B) Standard Installation for a prewired Dwelling Unit. Standard Installation of a prewired Dwelling Unit shall be installation of Cable Service to the Demarcation Point located on the Subscriber's property up to one hundred twenty-five (125) feet from the Subscriber's property line, sufficient to receive Cable Services and where the prewired equipment will allow the Cable System to meet all FCC technical requirements.

15.03 Only distribution mains within the corporate limits of MUNICIPALITY shall be tapped for the purpose of making service connections for the general supply of water to any premises within the corporate limits of MUNICIPALITY.
15.04 A service connection to a water main shall be permitted only if the water main extends across the full length of frontage of the premises to receive water service from the service connection. Service connections shall be permitted only to premises which abut a street in which a distribution main is situated or where an easement for water supply purposes extends from the premises to a street in which a distribution main is located.
15.05 A single service connection shall supply no more than one building. In multi-unit buildings, such as are located in shopping centers, or such other structures where units within that structure may be sold individually, the Commissioner shall determine the number of service connections necessary to adequately provide service to the building.
15.06 All service connections to any main located in a street or other public way or place shall be installed by PURVEYOR at the expense of the party ordering the service. The service line shall be installed by PURVEYOR up to a point approximately two feet (2’) back of the curb line or edge of pavement. Such installations shall include all stop cocks and valves...
Service Connections. Service Connections. 2.4.1. Water service lines shall be series Pex Pipe (Crosslinked Polyethylene Pipe), minimum 25mm in size.

2.4.3. Lots for semi-detached and multiple units shall have one separate service for each unit.
2.4.4. Curb stands shall be marked with a wooden 2X4 extended 1m above finished grade.
2.4.5. Services shall generally be installed in the center of the lot avoiding installation under any driveways. The service shall be terminated a minimum of 3m into the lot, beyond any shallow utility installation and shall be protected by utility right-of- way providing access to the Town.
2.4.6. For industrial lots, minimum service size shall be 150mm sanitary and 50mm water unless the size of the lot or proposed land use requires a larger size. Water valves shall be located a minimum of 3m into the lot, beyond any shallow utilities installation and shall remain closed and uncharged until the property is developed.
