Service cores. All employees employed on a service core at more than fifteen (15) metres above the highest point of the main structure will be paid the multi-storey rate appropriate for the main structure plus the prescribed towers allowance calculated from the highest point reached by the main structure to the highest point reached by the service core in any one pay period. (i.e. for this purpose, the highest point of the main structure will be regarded as though it were the ground in calculating the appropriate towers allowance).
Service cores. (a) All Employees employed on a service core at more than 15 metres above the highest point of the main structure shall be paid the multi-storey rate appropriate for the main structure plus the allowance in clause 26.7, calculated from the highest point reached by the service core in any one (1) day period. For this purpose, the highest point of the main structure shall be regarded as though it were the ground in calculating the appropriate Towers Allowance. (b) Employees employed on a service core at 15 metres or less above the main structure shall be paid in accordance with the Multi-Storey Allowance outlined in clause 26.5. (c) Provided any section of a service core exceeding 15 metres above the highest point of the main structure shall be disregarded for the purpose of calculating the Multi-Storey Allowance applicable to the main structure.

A.17.4.3 Any section of a service core exceeding fifteen metres above the highest point of the main structure will be disregarded for the purpose of calculating the multi- storey allowance applicable to the main structure.

All Employees employed on a service core at more than fifteen metres above the highest point of the main structure, where the Employee is physically isolated from the top deck and working in an enclosed space, shall be paid the multistorey rate appropriate for the main structure plus $1.07 per hour worked for each 15 metres, calculated from the highest point reached by the main structure to the highest point reached by the service core in any one day period (i.e. for this purpose the highest point of the main structure shall be regarded as though it were the ground in calculating the additional allowance). B. Employees employed on a service core no higher than fifteen metres above the main structure shall be paid in accordance with the Multistorey Allowance prescribed herein. C. Provided that any section of a service core exceeding fifteen metres above the highest point of the main structure shall be disregarded for the purpose of calculating the Multistorey Allowance application to the main structure. D. This rate is fixed. E. The Services Core Allowance is paid at a flat hourly rate for all time when work is being performed.

It is noted that in the fire protection, security and computer cabling industries there is a requirement under the cabling provider rules for all employees who work on services that connect (or are intended to connect) to the telecommunication network to be licensed / registered.
