Service Letters. 34.1 An employee who is dismissed or resigns shall be given a certificate of service upon request and shall be paid within 30 days. 34.2 An employee who resigns from service will be allowed 72 hours, from the time such resignation is submitted, in which to rescind his or her decision. At or subsequent to the expiry of this 72-hour period, the employee's decision will be considered final and irrevocable and will not be subject to appeal.
