Common use of Service Pay Clause in Contracts

Service Pay. 23:01 Every member shall be eligible for Long Service Pay in accordance with the following table: Upon completion of 5 years of service and until the completion of the 10th year of service $ 78.75 per annum Upon completion of 10 years of service and until the completion of the 15th year of service $157.50 per annum Upon completion of 15 years of service and until the completion of the 20th year of service $236.25 per annum Upon completion of 20 years of service and until the completion of the 25th year of service $315.00 per annum Upon completion of 25 years of service and until the completion of the 30th year of service $393.75 per annum Upon completion of 30 years of service and until the completion of the 35th year of service $472.50 per annum Upon completion of 35 years of service and thereafter $551.25 per annum Service Pay shall become due on November 30th of each year and shall be calculated pro rata from the date of eligibility to November 30th. On severance or retirement, a member shall be entitled to Long Service Pay that may have been due him/her at the time of such severance or retirement. In the case of death, the Long Service Pay which may have been due to such member at the time of his/her death shall be paid to the member's estate or beneficiary.
