Seventh Consecutive Day Clause Samples

The "Seventh Consecutive Day" clause defines rules or restrictions related to an employee working seven days in a row without a day off. Typically, this clause outlines whether such scheduling is permitted, under what circumstances it may occur, and what additional compensation or rest periods are required if it does happen. For example, it may require overtime pay for work performed on the seventh consecutive day or mandate a compensatory day off. The core function of this clause is to protect employee well-being by preventing excessive consecutive workdays and ensuring compliance with labor laws regarding rest periods.
