Shift Briefing Clause Samples

The Shift Briefing clause establishes the requirement for a formal exchange of information at the beginning or end of a work shift. Typically, this involves outgoing personnel updating incoming staff on ongoing tasks, safety concerns, equipment status, or any incidents that occurred during the previous shift. By mandating these briefings, the clause ensures continuity of operations, reduces the risk of miscommunication, and helps maintain workplace safety and efficiency.
