Common use of Shift Change Notice Clause in Contracts

Shift Change Notice. Where the regular pre-scheduled shift of an employee is to be changed, the employee shall be given twenty-four (24) hours notice of such change. If less than twenty-four (24) hours notice is provided, the employee will be paid at time-and-a-half of the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on the employee’s next shift [up to seven-and-one-half (7½) hours].
