Common use of Shift Differentials Clause in Contracts

Shift Differentials. Effective Jan. 1, 06 a shift differential of one dollar ($1.00) per hour shall be paid for shift starting between 2:00 pm and 9:59 pm for employees regularly assigned to such shifts. A shift differential of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour shall be paid for shifts starting between 10:00 pm and 3:00 am for employees regularly assigned to such shifts. The differential provided herein shall be part of base pay for overtime pay and other purposes.
