Sick Leave Attendance Incentive Program. 20 At the time of separation from school district employment, an eligible employee or the 21 employee’s estate will receive remuneration at the rate equal to one (1) day’s current monetary 22 compensation for each four (4) days accrued leave for illness or injury. Maximum 23 accumulation for such remuneration under this formula will be one hundred-eighty (180) days. 24 (RCW 28A.400.210) 26 In January of the year following any year in which a minimum of sixty (60) days of leave for 27 illness or injury is accrued, and each January thereafter, any eligible employee may exercise an 28 option to receive remuneration for unused leave for illness or injury accumulated in the 29 previous year at a rate equal to one (1) day’s monetary compensation of the employee for each 30 four (4) full days of accrued leave for illness or injury in excess of sixty (60) days.
