After each site visit or project meeting, prepare and distribute written minutes as directed by the County (including work progress, quality of work performed, traffic control, storm water pollution prevention, etc.) pursuant to the Contract Documents. A copy of each report shall be submitted to the County within three (3) working days. Within twenty-four (24) hours of implementation of each traffic control phase/step, perform a daytime and nighttime site visit and submit a letter with the findings to the County. In performing these services, endeavor to protect the County against defects and deficiencies in the work. However, the Engineer does not guarantee the performance of their Contracts nor accepts responsibility for the Contractor's means, methods and worker's safety. The Engineer shall not be responsible for the acts or omissions of the Contractor, or of any of their subcontractors, suppliers, or vendors.

1. Recover and verify existing control monumentation necessary to perform the services required under the project.
2. Establish centerline control.
3. Reference all horizontal control to the alignment in the construction drawings for the project.
4. Base all vertical control on the benchmarks identified in the construction drawings for the project.
5. Stake the centerline at the beginning and ending point of the alignment and at 1000 foot intervals. Stake all PC's, PT’s, PI's.
6. Establish temporary benchmarks within 500 feet of the beginning and ending points of the alignment and at 1,000 feet intervals throughout the project outside of the proposed construction area.
7. Stake the right‐of‐way line, based on iron rods found or set during project design, with lathes and flagging on both sides of the Project alignment at 1,000‐foot intervals.
