Common use of Span of Hours Clause in Contracts

Span of Hours. a) Due to the nature of the business the ordinary hours will be worked between the following span of hours: Monday to Sunday 7.00am to 4.00am (the next day) including public holidays b) The span of hours may be extended on occasions by agreement between the employer and an employee to meet the operational needs of the business.

Span of Hours. a) Due to the nature of the business the ordinary hours will be worked between the following span spread of hours: 10.00am and 10.00pm Monday to Sunday 7.00am to 4.00am (the next day) including public holidays b) Provided that during the off season (April – November) the spread of hours may be shortened in line with public demand. c) The span of hours may be extended on occasions by agreement between the employer and an employee to meet cater for the operational needs of the business.
