Standard Form Contract Sample Clauses

A Standard Form Contract is a pre-prepared agreement where most terms are set in advance by one party, leaving little or no room for negotiation by the other party. Typically used in high-volume transactions such as insurance policies, mobile phone agreements, or online service terms, these contracts are presented on a 'take it or leave it' basis. The core practical function of a Standard Form Contract is to streamline transactions and reduce negotiation time, but it also addresses the problem of efficiency in mass-market dealings while potentially shifting bargaining power toward the party drafting the contract.
