Standard Overtime. Overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular rate of pay shall be paid as follows: a. For hours worked in excess of forty (40) within any normal workweek, or b. For hours worked in excess of eight (8) in any 24-hour period. c. An employee who is required to work in excess of sixteen (16) continuous hours excluding the non-paid lunch period of a day worker shall be paid two (2) times his or her regular rate of pay for all such continuous hours worked in excess of sixteen (16). d. An employee who is required to work overtime beyond the end of his or her scheduled shift shall receive not less than four (4) hours pay at straight time, or one and one-half (1-1/2) times his or her regular rate for such work performed, whichever is greater. It is understood that this section does not apply to an employee who may be required to remain on his or her assignment due to the absence or tardiness of another employee who is scheduled to relieve him or her. e. An employee who is not notified prior to the beginning of the applicable workweek shall receive not less than four (4) hours pay at straight time, or one and one-half (1-1/2) times his or her regular rate for such work performed, whichever is greater, when required to work prior and continuous to the beginning of his or her regular scheduled shift.

d. An (c) When an employee who is required to work overtime sixty (60) minutes or more beyond the end of his or her scheduled shift shift, he or she shall receive not less than four two (42) hours pay at straight time, his/her regular rate or one and one-half (1-1/2) times his or her regular rate for such work performed, whichever is greater. It is understood that this section does not apply to an employee who may be required to remain on his or her assignment due to the absence or tardiness of another employee who is scheduled to relieve him or her.
e. (d) An employee who is not notified prior to the beginning of the applicable workweek shall receive not less than four (4) hours pay at straight time, or one and one-half (1-1/2l-1/2) times his or her regular rate for such work performed, whichever is greater, when required to work prior and continuous to the beginning of his or her regular scheduled shift. The pay shall start at the time the employee arrives for work.
