Standard Products Clause Samples

The 'Standard Products' clause defines which goods or services are considered standard offerings by a supplier, as opposed to custom or specially modified products. Typically, this clause clarifies that only items regularly manufactured or provided by the supplier, without unique alterations for the buyer, fall under this category. For example, off-the-shelf software or mass-produced hardware would be covered, while bespoke solutions would not. The core function of this clause is to set clear expectations about what is being supplied, helping to avoid misunderstandings regarding product specifications and reducing disputes over whether a product meets contractual requirements.
