STANDARD WORK WEEK AND WORK DAY. 1. The standard full time work day shall be seven and one half (7.5) hours within eight (8) hours. The standard work week shall be five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Friday, and total thirty-seven and one half (37.5) hours per week. This article shall not restrict the extension of the regular workday or work week on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District. 2. The first (day) shift shall begin no earlier than 6:00 am. and no later than 10:00 am. The second (swing) shift shall begin no earlier than 1:00 p.m. and no later than 3:00 p.m.
