Common use of Status of Salary Schedules Clause in Contracts

Status of Salary Schedules. The salary schedule shall not be construed as a part of a teacher-itinerant’s continuing contract. In the event a successor Agreement is not entered into prior to the expiration of this Agreement, a teacher-itinerant shall be compensated according to the current rate until a successor Agreement is fully ratified, and any increase in compensation shall only be effective as of the date the successor Agreement is fully ratified.

A teacher's advancement is subject to the right of the date District to withhold increments, lane changes, or other salary increases for just cause. The District shall give written notice and the successor Agreement is fully ratifiedreason for such action.
