Status of Salary Schedules. The salary schedule shall not be construed as a part of a teacher's continuing contract. In the event a successor Agreement is not entered into prior to the expiration date of this Agreement, a teacher shall be compensated according to the previous year's compensation until such time that a successor Agreement is executed. A teacher's advancement is subject to the right of the School District to withhold increments, lane changes, or other salary increases for good and sufficient grounds. A salary increment shall not be withheld unless the teacher is notified of the deficiency. Actions withholding a salary increase shall be subject to grievance procedures.
