Common use of Step Advance Clause in Contracts

Step Advance. If, in the judgment of the Union, a grievance affects a group or class of employees, the Union may submit such a grievance, in writing, to the Superintendent directly and the processing grievance shall be commenced at Step 2. The grievance must be presented within twenty (20) working days of the occurrence of the facts on which the grievance is based.
