STORM PROTECTION. 1. The Contractor shall take every practicable precaution to minimize danger to persons and to the work during rainy or windy conditions. The County shall protect all County facilities within their work project. Also the Contractor shall protect all facilities from damage due to the Contractor’s negligence. 2. As part of its storm protection, the Contractor shall provide a storm water management plan (erosion control plan), to be reviewed and approved by the County. (Reference Section H of this Attachment, NPDES Storm Water Discharges.)
STORM PROTECTION. A. The A-E shall take every practicable precaution to minimize danger to persons and to the work during rainy or windy conditions. The County shall protect all County facilities within their work project. Also the A-E shall protect all facilities from damage. B. As part of its storm protection, the A-E shall provide a storm water management plan (erosion control plan), to be reviewed and approved by the County. (The County is not responsible for damage if the Storm Water Management Plan is deficient or inadequate for managing storm water flows.)
STORM PROTECTION. If a warning of ▇▇▇▇ force or stronger winds is issued, take precautions to minimize any danger to persons, and protect the work and any nearby Government property. Precautions shall include, but are not limited to, closing openings, removing loose materials, tools, and equipment from exposed locations, and removing or securing scaffolding and other temporary work. Close openings at the work area if storms of lesser intensity pose a threat to the work or any nearby Government property.

STORM PROTECTION. The Contractor, at no additional cost to the Commonwealth, shall be responsible for the security and safety of the construction work and the site, including the Contractor's camp site, when warnings of winds of gale force are issued. Gale ▇▇▇▇s are defined as having a ▇▇▇tained velocity of 34 knots (39 MPH) or greater and include winds of tropical storms and typhoon intensity.

NPDES STORM WATER DISCHARGES Contractor shall comply with the NPDES Regulations and the Storm Water Pollution Protection Plan for the landfill at which the work is to be conducted. Construction-related activities, including but not limited to the elements of the SWPPP, shall be performed to eliminate non-storm discharges to the storm water control system, by the Contractor and Subcontractor(s). The Contractor shall submit a Storm Water Management Plan in compliance with NPDES Regulations and site specific SWPPP. OC Waste & Recycling will notify the Contractor of any non-compliance with the foregoing stipulations, and appropriate actions shall be taken promptly. The Contractor shall also notify OC Waste & Recycling of any condition that could lead to noncompliance with the permit requirements. The Contractor shall be responsible for storm water monitoring at the landfill to comply with this proposed storm water plan, if necessary. Contractor shall not be entitled to any time extensions or compensation for any cost due to any action required as a result of the Contractor’s failure to comply with those provisions of the SWPPP within the Contractor’s control. The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that the Contractor’s Subcontractor(s) comply with the provisions of this Section. The Contractor shall be liable for any action or fine imposed by the regulatory agencies on those incidents of noncompliance that are within the Contractor’s area of responsibility. Contractor is not required to obtain an NPDES Construction Storm Water Industrial Activity Permit; however, the Contractor must abide by the site’s NPDES requirements. The appropriate SWPPP will be available for Contractor’s review in the offices of the Site PM.

The product, its anti-virus engine, and any malware database the system uses, will be no more than one update behind current.

  • Eye Protection Where an employee is required by the College or by legislation, in order to perform his/her duties, to acquire and wear prescription eye protection, the employee shall provide the College with proof of purchase by March 1 each year and the College shall reimburse to such employee, on the first pay day of April in each year, up to a maximum of twenty dollars ($20.00); in situations other than the foregoing, the College, may in its discretion, (which discretion shall not be unreasonably exercised) reimburse such expense where it is recommended by the health and safety committee constituted under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

  • Safety and Protection Where applicable, the PERFORMING PARTY shall be responsible for requiring employees, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain and supervise all necessary safety precautions and programs in connection with the Grant Activities. The PERFORMING PARTY shall take all necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of the public during performance of the Grant Activities.
