Common use of Strikes and Lockouts Prohibited Clause in Contracts

Strikes and Lockouts Prohibited. During the term of this Agreement, neither the Union nor its officers or agents, or any employee for any reason, will authorize, institute, aid, condone or engage in a slowdown, work stoppage, strike, sympathy strike or concerted refusal to work, or refusal to follow reasonable work instruction. During the term of this Agreement neither the District nor its agents will for any reason authorize, institute, aid or promote as a resolution to a labor dispute any lockout of employees covered by this Agreement.
