SUBSURFACE DRAINAGE. Optionee acknowledges its understanding that the Subject Property may contain certain drainage lines providing surface and subsurface water drainage from other real property. Optionee agrees to preserve such subsurface drainage or to provide suitable alternative surface or subsurface drainage at Optionee’s cost on any property purchased pursuant to the terms of this agreement.
SUBSURFACE DRAINAGE. Cut and fill slopes shall be provided with subsurface drainage as necessary for stability.
SUBSURFACE DRAINAGE. The Owner shall notify the Municipality, in writing, in the event that any existing sewer or drain is encountered during the progress of construction. The Owner shall have its Engineer investigate the matter and shall comply with the recommendations of the Owner’s Engineer, as approved by the Municipality, with respect to the sewer or drain encountered. Such recommendations may include connecting the existing sewer to a new sewer being constructed or into another existing sewer, at no expense to the Municipality. The Owner shall also ensure that there is no interruption of any subsurface drainage flow because of construction on the site which would have an adverse effect on neighbouring properties. Should such an interruption occur, the Owner shall carry out any necessary remedial work to correct the problem as requested by the Municipality and to the satisfaction of the Municipality at no expense to the Municipality.
SUBSURFACE DRAINAGE. A. Subsurface Drainage: Place subsurface drainage geotextile, drainage course filter material and sub-drainage pipe in accordance with the details shown on the plans. 1. Surround drain pipe with 6-inches minimum drainage course material (as specified herein) or as detailed on plans.

  • Drainage ▪ Prevent silt bearing road surface and ditch runoff from delivering sediment to any streams or wetlands. ▪ Maintain rolling dips and drivable waterbars as needed to keep them functioning as intended. ▪ Maintain headwalls to the road shoulder level with material that will resist erosion. ▪ Maintain energy dissipaters at culvert outlets with non-erodible material or rock. ▪ Keep ditches, culverts, and other drainage structures clear of obstructions and functioning as intended. ▪ Inspect and clean culverts at least monthly, with additional inspections during storms and periods of high runoff. This shall be done even during periods of inactivity. ▪ Perform preventative maintenance work to safeguard against storm damage, such as blading to ensure correct runoff, ditch and culvert cleaning, and waterbar maintenance.

  • Groundwater Any water, except capillary moisture, beneath the land surface or beneath the bed of any stream, lake, reservoir or other body of surface water within the boundaries of this state, whatever may be the geologic formation or structure in which such water stands, flows, percolates, or otherwise moves.

  • Subsurface Conditions Unless the Contract Documents stipulate specific quantities and units of rock or unsuitable soils, the Contractor shall assume material below the surface of the Earth to be earth and other material that can be removed by power shovel or similar equipment. Should conditions encountered below the surface of the ground be at variance to the number of unit requirements as indicated by drawings or specifications, and absent an agreed-upon unit price established prior to the bid by Addendum, or after contract execution by Change Order, the Contract Sum and/or time shall be adjusted as provided in the Contract Documents for changes in the work.

  • Underground Tanks If underground or other storage tanks storing Hazardous Materials located on the Premises or the Project are used by Tenant or are hereafter placed on the Premises or the Project by Tenant, Tenant shall install, use, monitor, operate, maintain, upgrade and manage such storage tanks, maintain appropriate records, obtain and maintain appropriate insurance, implement reporting procedures, properly close any underground storage tanks, and take or cause to be taken all other actions necessary or required under applicable state and federal Legal Requirements, as such now exists or may hereafter be adopted or amended in connection with the installation, use, maintenance, management, operation, upgrading and closure of such storage tanks.

  • Underground Facilities All underground pipelines, conduits, ducts, cables, wires, manholes, vaults, tanks, tunnels, or other such facilities or attachments, and any encasements containing such facilities, including without limitation those that convey electricity, gases, steam, liquid petroleum products, telephone or other communications, cable television, water, wastewater, storm water, other liquids or chemicals, or traffic or other control systems.
