Common use of Superintendent Level Clause in Contracts

Superintendent Level. The Superintendent or Designee shall meet with the grievant in an attempt to resolve the grievance. The Superintendent shall render a decision on the grievance within fifteen (15) days following the receipt of the appeal. If the aggrieved or the Association is not satisfied with the decision at the Superintendent Level, the aggrieved or the Association may appeal to the Board of Education through the Superintendent. Such action must be initiated within ten (10) work days after the decision is rendered at the Superintendent Level.

Superintendent Level. i. If not satisfied with the decision at the Supervisor Level, the grievant may, within twelve (12) days, appeal the grievance in writing to the Superintendent. ii. The Superintendent or Designee shall meet with the grievant and the supervisor involved in an attempt the grievance to resolve review the grievancerecord of the prior steps and other information that may be presented. The Superintendent shall render a decision on the grievance within fifteen twelve (1512) days following the receipt of the appeal. If the aggrieved or the Association is not satisfied with the decision at the Superintendent Level, the aggrieved or the Association may appeal to the Board of Education through the Superintendent. Such action must be initiated within ten (10) work days after the decision is rendered at the Superintendent Level.
