Common use of Supervision and Construction Procedures; Safety Clause in Contracts

Supervision and Construction Procedures; Safety. Contractor shall be solely responsible for and have control over construction means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures, and for coordinating all portions of the Services. Contractor shall be responsible to the Townt for acts and omissions of Contractor’s employees, subcontractors and their agents and employees, and any other persons or entities performing portions of the Services for or on behalf of Contractor or any of its subcontractors. Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the performance of the Services. Contractor shall take reasonable precautions for safety of, and shall provide reasonable protection to prevent damage, injury or loss to: (a) employees and other persons present on the Property or performing the Services, (b) the materials and equipment used in the performance of the Services, and (c) other real and personal property at the site or adjacent thereto.
